23rd Dec 2015 - CHRISTMAS CELEBRATIONS AT SRWS
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
Honoring the birth of Jesus Christ, Christmas evolved over two millennia into a worldwide religious and secular celebration, incorporating many pre-Christian traditions into the festivities along the way. Today, Christmas is a time for family and friends to get together and exchange gifts.
The auspicious occasion of Christmas was an illuminating moment for the students as the school celebrated Christmas on 23rd December 2015, thus spreading the message of peace, contentment and spirituality. The program began with the students’ enchanting melodious Christmas carols. The audience was also enlightened with the knowledge of various Christmas facts. The splendor and spectacle created a perfect visual treat when the students presented a vibrant dance performance on the Christmas Carols.
The entry of the fascinatinging Santa Claus left the students in cheerful mirth and excitement. The highlight of the celebration was the magic show which was appreciated by a thunderous applause by the audience.The festival of Christmas was celebrated with fun and frolic in our school.

22nd & 23rd December 2015 - A VISIT TO THE CHURCH
‘May Peace be your gift at Christmas and your blessing all year through!’
India, being a multicultural country, has a variety of festivals being celebrated with lots of joy and gusto. Every year, Christmas is celebrated on December 25 to commemorate the birth anniversary of Lord Jesus Christ. Though it is a religious festival of Christians, it has a special significance in everyone's life.
With the Christmas festivities in the air, the students of classes I and Pre Primary of S R World School were taken for a visit to the St. George Orthodox Church, Dwarka on 22nd & 23rd December 2015. This visit also aimed to promote the spirit of respect for all religions among students. The students learnt a lot in a very enjoyable manner. The children were told about the story of the birth of Lord Jesus Christ. The curious questions of the little ones were answered by the priest. The children were delighted to see the beautifully decorated huge Christmas tree. They were very excited to meet Santa Claus. Overall it was a great learning experience for the kids.

19th December 2015 - DAY ADVENTURE CAMP AT FARMSTEAD, GURGAON

Adventure is sometimes considered as an activity that gives an adrenaline rush, the ultimate feat of skill and endurance. But few realize that adventure happens each time we reach beyond the known and stretch our limits in the adrenaline challenge. Hence, the importance of adventure is not necessarily about extreme experiences, but a key necessity of life.
To provide the unique opportunity to the students to grow by challenging themselves in a fun and positive environment with the support of their peers, a day adventure camp was organized by our school on 19th December 2015 for the students of classes II-V. This camp was conducted by “Great Rocksport Pvt. Ltd” at Camp Farmstead, Gurgaon. All the activities were carried out under the guidance of trained professionals and supervision of school teachers. The students were also provided breakfast and lunch. With an active support from the team of trained instructors, students experienced fast paced power-packed adventure activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Crawl, Commando Net, Woody Wave, Hippity Hop Race and many others. The day adventure camp concluded with the students having a gala time tapping their feet to the tunes of their favourite songs.
The event provided a rare opportunity to the students to test as well as develop their drive, resolve and panache for adventure. The participation and extraordinary response of the students provided a testimony to the fact that the event was a mega success. It was an experience which students will remember for a long time.

4th December 2015 - DAY ADVENTURE CAMP AT SRWS
“We must take adventures in order to know where we truly belong.”
Through adventure activities, we encourage students to think out-of-the-box, empower them with skills like leading and working in a team, instill a healthy spirit of competition, some life values, some cheer and enthusiasm that go a long way in their life.Adventure Camps expose students to experience a situation hands-on, overcome a challenging task by finding their own answers, which perhaps no classroom lecture can alone provide for.
A Day Adventure Camp was organized by SRWS in the school premises for the students of Classes Pre School, Pre Primary and Class I on Friday, 4th December 2015. This camp was conducted by “Great Rocksport Pvt. Ltd” under the guidance of trained professionals and supervision of school teachers. With an active support from the team of trained instructors, students experienced fast paced power-packed adventure activities like Burma Bridge, Commando Crawl, Commando Net, Woody Wave, Hippity Hop Race and many others.
The combination of fun filled games and life skill activities made the learning experience richer, joyful and rewarding, leaving kids wanting for more. The children enjoyed all the outdoor activities thoroughly. It was a thrilling experience for the little ones.
