09th May 2017: May 2017 - TALENT SHOW
A Talent Hunt was organized for the students of Class PrePrimary, Class I and Class II from 25th April 2017 to 9th May 2017.The little ones exhibited their talents in diverse fields – singing, dancing and oratory skills. This activity aimed to discover the students’ hidden talent and all-round potential. This provided a platform to give guidance and support to the young talent. It was amazing to see the students perform with utmost enthusiasm, confidence and grace. There was a complete ambience of joy. The children were actively engaged in exhibiting their talent- their laughter and smiles indicating the sense of involvement.

04th May 2017: ShreeRam World School shines at Confluence 2017
ShreeRam World School, Sector 10, Dwarka bagged the trophy for the First Prize in the Inter School 'Nukkad Natak' competition on 4th May 2017. The theme of the event was ‘Be the change you want to see in the world’. The school also won the First Prize in the Inter School Dance Competition ‘Move in style’ on 5th May 2017. The theme of this event was ‘Stop Bullying’. Both the competitions were held at Confluence 2017, an inter-school festival organised by K R Mangalam World School, Vikaspuri where a large number of reputed schools from across Delhi had participated. Kudos to the young achievers!

25th April 2017: Inter School Group Dance Competition Dhara Utsav
ShreeRam World School, Sector 10, Dwarka bagged the trophy for the First Prize in the Inter School Group Dance Competition at Dhara Utsav 2017 organised by N K Bagrodia Global School, Sector 17, Dwarka. The theme of the competition was ‘Earth’, marking the month of the ‘Earth Day’. Over 20 schools across Dwarka participated in the event. The vivacious dancers from ShreeRam World School performed brilliantly and brought laurels to the school.

22nd April 2017: Delhi Roller Skating Talent Hunt 2017
Students from ShreeRam World School participated in the Delhi Roller Skating Talent Hunt 2017 organised by Hi-Speed Sports Academy on 22nd April 2017 at Abhinav Global School, Sector 13, Dwarka. It was a good platform for the budding skaters to showcase their talent. Over 500 students across different schools from Delhi, NCR participated in the event. 06th April 2017: INTER SCHOOL YOGATHON CHAMPIONSHIP
While the benefits of Yoga are known to the world, its practice is what creates a difference in the minds and bodies of the people. With an aim to encourage healthy living in our routine by promoting Yoga as a part of our lives, students of ShreeRam World School participated in the ‘5th Inter School Yogathon Championship’ organised by N.K. Bagrodia Public School on 6th April 2017. It was an endeavour to enhance the spirit of sportsmanship as well as awareness for healthy living. Over 20 schools participated in the championship.
Aryan of class VI bagged a bronze medal by securing the third position in the boys category. Heartiest congratulations!

07th March 2017: Fancy Dress Competition

It is imperative to give children positive attention, guidance to learn and help them develop confidence in their abilities as they work towards building self-esteem, confidence, problem-solving skills and social skills. Stage exposure bolsters children's creative expression and interpretation skills – all of which can go a long way in empowering them. Out of all the activities, fancy dress competitions give the children a chance to portray their favourite characters or something that has impressed them that they want to share with everyone. It is a fun filled activity and excellent for children as it enhances their imagination and stimulates their creativity.
To develop the attributes of a good communicator and an attitude of confidence, a ‘Fancy Dress Show’ was organized in ShreeRam World School on 7th March, 2017. The themes of the event were Prominent Global Personalities and Nature- A Great Teacher. Students of classes III-V came forward displaying their vibrant costumesof personalities like Swami Vivekananda, Rani Laxmi Bai, Adolf Hitler, Narendra Modi, Mother Teresa, Virat Kohli and a few depicting our Mother Earth, Moon etc. They won thunderous applause on their wonderful performances and were appreciated thoroughly.

06th February 2017: Junior Olympics 2017
It is a matter of great pride that the budding athletes of ShreeRam World School participated in the recently concluded ‘Junior Olympics’ 2017, organised by Junior Sports India, held at Chhatrasal Stadium, Model Town, New Delhifrom6th to 8th February 2017 and brought back laurels for the school. 31 students from Preschool to Class V participated out of which 26 qualified the heats for the finals. The atmosphere was vibrant with participants from a large number of schools. The promotion of the event was covered by The Hindustan Times group.The event will be telecast on Neo Sports. All the students of ShreeRam World School performed extremely well and 11 of them won the following medals:

05th February 2017: 2nd Pusa Roller Skating Championship 2017
Healthy competition inspires students to do their best. When students compete they become more inquisitive, research independently and learn to work with others. These abilities prepare children to face all future situations and give them an important edge. We, at ShreeRam World School, provide ample opportunities to our students where they can hone their talent and learn new skills.
Roller skating provides a great way to exercise and plays an immensely crucial role which helps in the holistic development of the children. The budding skaters zoomed on their skates and amazed everyone with their talent in inline, squad and adjustable in the 2nd Pusa Roller Skating Championship 2017 held at Pusa Skating Campus, Faculty Club, Pusa Institute, Delhi. The artistic skating left the audience spellbound, as it was an amalgamation of creativity, skill and technique.

16th January 2017: Poetry in Voice: Class I
"Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought and the thought has found words"

ShreeRam World School believes that poetry recitation is an effective method for students to increase their appreciation for language and cement their mastery over public speaking. Such school activities help to explore the hidden gems in literature and it also develops the creative thinking and imagination of students.
A 'Poetry in Voice' competition was held for all sections of Class I from 16th– 19th January 2017. As we all know, poetry is meant for pleasure. Beauty is the realm of the poetry; the children enjoy the beauty of expression, rhythm, thoughts, feelings and music of words. Taking all these facts into consideration the children got an opportunity to exhibit their talent and confidence. The eye catching props added icing to the cake. The children chose from the two themes: 'Seasons' and 'New Year' and performed with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. This competition helped in enhancing the recitation skills and confidence in the children. It inspired them to come forward and recite on stage in front of an audience. The honorable judges appreciated and applauded the performance of the participants.
